Surf 4 Kidz' main focus is the development of our youth. We want to influence the children of the South Bay area in life and at the beach. The children of our community are the future of our community and by having a place for these children to grow into mature, intelligent, and motivated individuals will improve the South Bay community and keep the Los Angeles area a better place.

The Sitting Tree's focus is on lending a helping hand to disadvantaged families. Whatever the ailment may be, The Sitting Tree acknowledges that when an economic, medical, or other form of hardship affects a specific individual, their family members suffer along their side. This organization identifies ways to help these families as a whole, and allows, even if only temporarily, a feeling of positive empowerment for those under strain. The Sitting Tree is a licensed 501(c)(3) (ie. they issue receipts for tax deductions) and the founders/workers do not receive payment for their efforts. Unlike other charities where administration costs take a sizable percentage of the donations, all donations to The Sitting Tree are used to help the less fortunate. Surf 4 Kidz will support The Sitting Tree and the proceeds of the camp will be used for several different projects.

This is the 3rd Annual Surf 4 Kidz camp. We have been working very closely with The Sitting Tree, and this year, we really plan on taking Surf 4 Kidz to the next level. With everyone's cooperation and help, we want to ensure this year is our biggest and best year.
